DATE: SATURDAY JULY 30
TIME: 10:00 am > 1:00 pm
Chakras are psycho-energetic centers pertaining to the subtle anatomy of our body; which hold the memory of our lives. Harmonizing the chakras, enhances many aspects of our human journey, from balance to sexuality, creativity, self confidence, relationship to the future, intuition, imagination.
As a result, this conscious tuning of the chakra system offers a sense of peace in our human relationships, including the one with ourselves.
The workshop is a healing physical asana practice as well as meditative, and provides an opportunity to explore different aspects of our psyche through the lens of Jivamukti yoga and Kundalini methods.
Jivamukti is a physical, ethical, and spiritual practice, combining a vigorous hatha yoga, vinyasa-based physical style with adherence to five central tenets: shastra (scripture), bhakti (devotion), ahimsa (nonviolence, non-harming), nāda (music), and dhyana (meditation).
Kundalini Yoga is the “Yoga of Awareness”, technology of human consciousness shared by Yogi Bhajan. It works on different planes of being going through the body with specific tools: dynamic or static physical postures (asanas), breath control (pranayama), mental work and concentration, Naad (mantras, gong…) meditation (with mantras or silent), relaxation and white tantra.
Everyone can practice Kundalini Yoga, particularly powerful in its effects; it strengthens the immune and nervous system, stimulating self-healing systems. Psychologically it provides techniques to regenerate mentally, relieve stress, refocus and calm emotionally. This is achieved by a specific work, which acts on blood chemistry, the nervous system, the endocrine system and brain functions. At a more advanced level, it allows each one to develop his own inner wisdom, expand conscience and the relationship to the world.
