A YOGA POSTURE IS A BREATHING PRACTICE
Breathing is one of the most important limbs and the essence of the Yoga Ashtanga rendering it as meditation in motion.
As you move through the sequence of asanas, you will take time to explore in depth, the breathing technique which is the foundation and the reason behind a yoga posture. (healing, rhythm and steadiness of the mind depend on the breath quality). In this class, you will also benefit from the emphasis on alignment and hands on adjustments. The session will close with a chanting practice.
Gemma is a Lebanese philosopher and a yoga teacher in Brussels. Founder of Samastitihi association for promoting Yoga practice and philosophy mainly in Belgium, she has chosen these disciplines as a guiding light in her life. The experience of Yoga practice and philosophy in a world where the mind-body problem is still a mystery is definitely worth the effort.
