This 2-hour workshop combines yoga āsana (physical posture), prāṇāyāma (culturing of the prāṇa through & breathing exercise) & bandha (culturing of the prāṇa through diaphragmatic binding). We begin the workshop with a brief introduction about tantra & yoga, their union together. Following the introductory is a 1.5 hour series of āsana called the Tri-Dosha balancing series. Recognizing the body as a balance of the five elements (the doshas) and the ethereal subtle energy of prāṇa this series is based on the science of Ayurveda (Indian natural medicine) to harmonize the whole being. It is a deep, moving meditation to relax every cell in the body and allow the yogi to experience his true self. The asana series ends with a long final shavasana & a guided meditation to allow the whole system to integrate, synchronize and experience itself in Bliss. Shavasana cultures the expression of the individual from one’s super-conscious state. And finally the workshop will end with prāṇāyāma & bandha, breathing exercises and techniques that can be helpful in our daily life.
By integrating the knowledge and practices of tantra yoga, we achieve balance and harmony so we can relax and flow happily and freely through life.
Aline is a 500 hour certified yoga teacher. Years into studying finance and working in the business field, she suffered from exhaustion, until she discovered the life changing discipline of yoga. She quit her job and travelled to Shri Kali Ashram in India for 6 months where she studied traditional Tantra Yoga. She is forever grateful for everything she has gained, yet continues to practice gratitude and the art of letting go.
